People tend to stick to the ABCs of fruit—apples, bananas, and citrus. Zespri asked us to create campaign that encouraged others to step outside of their normal routine and let their taste wander.

We teamed up with Capetown animation studio Tulips & Chimneys and London production house Strange Beast to bring this magical land to life. It was a wild ride working with some of the most talented people that I’ve ever met.

Besides the spots, we ended up with a toolkit of characters and foliage that could then be repurposed throughout this huge integrated campaign. Below is a sampling of some favorites.
